We have been using Mocco products for over 5 years with excellent success. Our typical valve lapping applications involve very hard and tough materials such as stellite and nickel/cobalt blends. Using Mocco VGCII valve compounds has allowed us to increase productivity in our cylinder head and valve cage rebuilding operations due to superior abrasive life of the lapping compound and the resulting fine finish.
The size of engine valves we work with range from 1.5" to 6", including other applications to 20+". Jeff, at the Mosher company has been very helpful assisting us in applications small to large."

I'm an 'old school' head machinist and still like to lap all of my valves. With today's modern equipment I'm told it's not necessary but, it shows me the precise contact area between the valve and seat. Your product leaves a very clean line that is very easy to see and shows any areas that may not be perfect. It also has a very workable consistency that is neater than other products I have used.
