Buffing and Polishing Compounds
Our products known as "MOCO Compounds" are recognized as the best for finishing Metals, Plastics, Wood and Glass.
"MOCO Compounds" are used in diverse applications in the: Metal Fabricating, Electronics, Fiber Optics, Semi-Conductor, Wood Working, Cutlery, Automotive, Jewelry, Aerospace and Firearms industries.
SPECIALTY KIT
AUTOMOTIVE RESTORATORS' BUFFING KIT

Kit includes:

(1) bar MOCO #271 Steel Cutting compound
(1) bar MOCO #2318 W.D. Cut & Color compound
(1) bar MOCO #1571 Cut & Color Tripoli compound
(1) bar MOCO #1062 White Rouge compound
(1) bar MOCO #2181 Green Rouge compound
(2) sections #86/82 spiral sewn buffing wheels, 8" dia. 1/2" arbor hole (or 6"dia where applicable). For "cut buffing"
(2) sections #1 buffing wheel, 8" dia. 1/2" arbor hole (or 6"dia where applicable). For "color buffing"

Products are for use in hand buffing operations on bench mounted buffing machines at approximately 3600 RPMS.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

#271 (dark grey) - most aggressive compound. For use with #86/82 buff for cut on stainless steel and tool steels.

#2318 W.D. (light grey)- less agressive than #271, gives good cut but leaves finer finish. Very clean-working and residue can be cleaned by water based cleaners. Use on #86/82 spirol sewn buff for cut & color on stainless steels, tool steels, brass, and chrominum plate prior to color buffing.

#1571 W.D. (reddish brown)- medium cut tripoli compound for use with #86/82 buff to provide cut & color on non-ferrous materials such as brass and aluminum. Clean working and easy to clean like #2318.

#1062 (white rouge)- use with buff as final finish/color compound for aluminum, brass, bronze, and copper. Also can be used with #86/82 for cut & color on steel and stainless; less agressive than #2318.

#2181 (green rouge)- use with #1 buff to create deep, bright lustre finish on stainless steels and tool steels.


Three different size kits depending on bar size and weight and buff size:

Kit #1 (2" X 2" X 8" bars each weighing approx. 2 pounds) - (8" diameter buffing wheels)

Kit #2 (Peanut Molds-each bar weighing approx. 1 pound) - (6" diameter buffs)
NOTE: priced upon request

Kit #3 (1" x 1" x 4" Trays- approx. 6 ounces) and (6" diameter buffing wheels)
